With the increase in demand for Botox, dermal fillers and other cosmetic injections, it’s important to ensure your cosmetic clinic is prepared to safely store these products.
Botox and many dermal fillers contain live cultures, so they must be kept refrigerated. If these products become too hot (or too cold), they can become spoiled, which means they can’t be used and can lead to clinics losing out on hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds.
Botox – for example – can be kept in a dedicated medical fridge for up to 4 weeks at a temperature between +2°C to +8°C. Only dedicated medical fridges can ensure a temperature of +2°C to +8°C is maintained for this period of time.
