All our products come with a manufacturer’s 12 month warranty. As standard, we also extend our parts & labour warranties for the following products:

Pharmacy fridge range – 5 year warranty

Laboratory fridge range – 5 year warranty

Ultra low freezers – 2 year warranty

Ward fridge range – 2 year warranty

Neonatal fridge range – 2 year warranty

This means that, within this period, if your appliance should fail due to a faulty component, we will send an engineer to replace the component for you at no cost to you.*

Outside this period, the engineer call-out will be payable by the customer at the rates shown below:

24 Hour Call-Out: £125.00 – Call-out within one day, provided the call is placed with CoolMed by 12.30pm on the previous working day.

72 Hour Call-Out: £105.00 – Call-out within three days, provided the call is placed with CoolMed by 12.30pm on the previous working day.

*Items covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for 6 months after purchase date: Door Seals, Gaskets, Locks, Keys, Feet, Wheels, Castors, Shelves, Shelf Supports, Power Leads and Fitted Plugs.

NB: Any signs of misuse will invalidate this warranty.

Other items NOT covered by the manufacturer’s warranty:

Light Bulbs or Tubes, Batteries, Fuses.
